Georgia O'Keeffe's style of large-scale flowers, trees, and leaves that used distortion were inspired by her summer vacations to New Mexico. These beautifully colored leaves are sure to brighten up your home. Join us while we practice drawing organic shapes to create curvy oak leaves while learning about color theory and the amazing pioneer of modern art: Georgia O'Keeffe. All the supplies are provided.

STEAM-tastic @ DRA – Come join us at Del Ray Artisans for interactive classes about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM), taught by professionals from each field! Geared toward kids and teens, each lesson has a short talk or demonstration and a hands-on craft project. Del Ray Artisans’ STEAM-tastic workshops are made possible with support from the City of Alexandria through the FY2025 Annual Arts Program Grant.
